What Are Dreams Made Of? was produced and engineered (as was Is Love A Fairy Tale?) as well as orchestrated by Aoede’s chief collaborator, Scrote, who has worked with Jackson Browne, Van Dyke Parks, Daniel Johnston and The Stripminers. Stellar musicians include: Peter Adams, Danny Frankel, Tim LeFebvre, Holland Greco, Nicky Corbett, Rob Dziubla, Elizabeth Lea, Robby Virus, David Sands, Sabrosa Purr, Scrote, and Aoede/Lisa Sniderman. In addition to the return of narrator Kevin Ponthier (who narrated Is Love A Fairy Tale?), the collection includes guest voice artists, renowned actor Michael Des Barres (“Phobetor”) and David Yow (“Luk”), founding member of the band The Jesus Lizard, as well as Joe Donohoe, Jeremy Little, Seli Marset and Geeta Novotny (the voice of the Siren).

Several children contributed their voices to this project as reception operators at the Department of Dreams and goblins. Further, many adults and children participated in a unique crowd chant and stomp for a Goblin Kings song. Magical artwork and illustrations by Ryan Durney. Basic tracks were recorded at Ocean Way Studios, Los Angeles. The project was mastered by Gavin Lurssen Mastering.
